Dr. Brown received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1986 from the School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He had the distinction of induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. As president of his senior class, he had the honor of delivering the commencement address at graduation.

Dr. Brown received his Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science in Orthodontics at UNC in 1989.

Since finishing the orthodontic program, Dr. Brown has continued his affiliation with the Department of Orthodontics as an Adjunct Professor. He teaches and treats patients in the department in Chapel Hill every other week and has done so for the past 17 years. This allows him to stay abreast of the most current techniques and technology in orthodontics.

Dr. Brown has earned the distinction of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an achievement held by only a small percentage of practicing orthodontists. He is dedicated to creating outstanding smiles, using the latest technology available.
